Καλημέρα Ήλιε..

To: copyright@youtube.com

Dear Sir or Madam,
Manos Loizos was a great Greek composer and political activist, one of the most famous songs he composed and wrote it's lyrics is "Kalimera Ilie" ("Καλημέρα ήλιε") meaning "Goodmorning sun" and it's a song about hope and dreams.
This song was arbitrarily chosen by PASOK "The socialist Greek party" as background music at their social events.
On the second verse Manos refers to his daughter Mirsini.
For years the song was being used by many people without any license or respect , abusing the memory of Mr. Loizos and depriving people of a great song.
Recently Mirsini Loizos wrote a letter to the Greek Prime Minister and his party that bans them from using the song "Kalimera Ilie" for their events and any other activity.
http://pitsirikos.net/2011/06/ανοιχτή-επιστολή-στον-πρωθυπουργό-κα/#more-11722  the letter in Greek but i am sure Google translate can give you an accurate meaning.
We kindly request Youtube Inc. to respect us and remove the following videos that mix the song with the socialist party.

Lyrics of the song "Kalimera Ilie"
"Good morning Sun"
We are going to get the sun drunk, definitely, yes
We are going to drive our friend crazy, definitely, yes
With the drum and with our Zourna (musical horn)
Good morning sun, good morning

The sun smiles and rushes to the narrow streets
It dances on the dram and then starts
The red for the pomegranate
The green for the children
For Myrsini's nest, a Virgin Mary

We are going to get the sun drunk, definitely, yes
We are going to drive our friend crazy, definitely, yes
With the drum and with our Zourna (musical horn)
Good morning sun, good morning

We are going to get the sun drunk, definitely, yes
We are going to keep the sun, definitely, yes
Up on the roofs and into the hearts
Good morning sun, good morning
